  The Guardian Series 3 is a configurable full-body safety harness designed for fall protection, confined-space retrieval and rescue applications. This XL/XXL configuration combines black webbing, a padded waist support, quick-connect chest and leg buckles, one dorsal D-ring and two shoulder retrieval D-rings.

  The harness is configured for manufacturer-approved customization with your company logo, providing professional identification without interfering with required labels or inspection areas.

  Understanding the Three D-Rings

  This harness has one dorsal D-ring and two shoulder D-rings. These attachment points are not interchangeable.

  Dorsal D-ring: The rear D-ring is the primary fall-arrest attachment point. It must be positioned between the worker’s shoulder blades and used only with a compatible connecting device and complete fall-protection system.

  Shoulder D-rings: The two shoulder D-rings are intended for approved rescue and confined-space retrieval systems. They must be used together with compatible retrieval equipment, such as a manufacturer-approved spreader bar or retrieval yoke.

  Never use a single shoulder D-ring by itself. Do not use the shoulder D-rings for fall arrest, travel restraint or work positioning.

  This configuration does not include side D-rings or a sternal D-ring. The waist pad does not make the harness suitable for work positioning.

  Custom-Logo Ordering

  Contact Energy Safety Supply before ordering to submit your logo and confirm:

  Do not independently sew, rivet, heat-transfer or otherwise attach a logo to the harness. Unauthorized modifications can damage the webbing, obscure required markings or affect the harness’s approved configuration.

  Use and Inspection Requirements

  This product must be selected, fitted, inspected and used by trained personnel under the employer’s fall-protection and rescue programs. The current Guardian instructions, harness labels and competent-person requirements control its use.

  Before every use:

  1. Confirm that the harness is the correct size and configuration for the worker and task.
  2. Inspect all webbing, stitching, D-rings, buckles, adjusters, labels and load indicators.
  3. Check that the webbing is not cut, burned, frayed, chemically damaged or excessively worn.
  4. Put on and adjust the harness according to Guardian’s instructions.
  5. Position the dorsal D-ring between the shoulder blades.
  6. Secure both quick-connect buckles and perform a physical tug check.
  7. Adjust all straps to fit snugly without restricting normal movement.
  8. Have another trained person verify the fit when required by the employer’s program.

  Immediately remove the harness from service if it has arrested a fall, fails inspection, has missing or unreadable labels, or shows evidence of damage, contamination or unauthorized modification.
