Fence NETTING W/WEB STRAPS (7' X 7') - The Safety Netting is a four-inch square mesh netting ideal for Fall Arrest applications. This netting eliminates the need for knots by using a balanced, knitted construction, with filaments running continuously throughout the netting to enhance strength and durability. It is composed of HTPP fiber, which is highly resistant to abrasion, moisture, and chemicals, and is also incredibly lightweight. All netting offered by Guardian is available in a variety of sizes (see table below).

  Create a highly visible temporary boundary around work areas in power plants, nuclear facilities and other industrial environments. RSN0707 is a 7-foot by 7-foot orange mesh safety net commonly installed vertically as temporary safety fencing around FME zones, outage work areas, exclusion zones, controlled-access areas and maintenance perimeters.

  Depending on facility terminology, personnel may also refer to this type of temporary net barrier as Kelly fencing or Kelley fencing.

  Important Application Distinction

  When installed vertically around a work zone, this netting serves as a highly visible temporary boundary. It is not a guardrail, radiation barrier, security fence or load-bearing barricade. Do not climb, sit, lean or place loads against it. Use appropriate signs, access controls and site-approved supports, and keep required walkways and emergency exits clear.

  The manufacturer also identifies this product for approved fall-arrest applications and lists OSHA 1910.140 and OSHA 1926.502 compliance. Any fall-arrest installation must follow the current manufacturer requirements and a site-specific fall-protection plan developed by a qualified person. Do not treat a temporary vertical zone-boundary installation as a fall-arrest system.

  Inspect the mesh, borders and all web straps before installation and after any impact. Remove the netting from service if it is cut, frayed, chemically damaged, heat damaged, excessively UV-degraded or otherwise unable to perform its assigned function.
