Important Compatibility Information
Use TB30130 only with the fall-arrest post or manufacturer-approved adapter specifically identified as compatible with this base.
A separate adapter is required when mounting a compatible Pro-3 Tri-Post to an Analog-style base. Do not assume compatibility based only on appearance, dimensions or another manufacturer’s product description.
Installation and Safety Requirements
Installation must be designed or approved by a qualified fall-protection professional and completed by a qualified welder using an approved welding procedure. The supporting structure, welds and complete fall-protection system must satisfy the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable workplace requirements.
Because this product is supplied as plain steel, apply an approved corrosion-protection system after welding and inspection when required for the installation environment.
Do not:
- Connect a harness, lanyard, lifeline or SRL directly to this base
- Use the base by itself as a fall-protection anchor
- Use it for material lifting, hoisting, rigging or load securement
- Substitute an unapproved post, adapter or component
- Place the system into service before the installation has been inspected and accepted
